A beautiful 1936 BSA Q7 in original and unmolested condition.
This particular BSA Q7 was first registered on the 29th of January 1936 so it is an early 1936 model which the frame and engine numbers also confirm.
The original Smiths speedo reads 41.119 km and studying the bike in detail, I believe this to be correct. Except for a later replica Lucas rear light, this BSA is very original and unmolested. First paint and chrome. All original nuts and bolts and still in good shape.
There is one small soft dent on the right hand side of the petrol tank which blends in nicely with the patina. The BSA is very well kept and has a lovely patina throughout.
The magneto was completely rebuild only last year. The bike feels ‘tight’ and is ready for the road.
