Are you the new Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with a passion for food, drinks, hospitality and for the vibrant atmospheres of nhow Amsterdam RAI, 'the culture's hub'?

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a new social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolises the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is located in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarter and home base.

For this iconic social hub, we are looking for a catalyst with an inquisitive personality, who is ready to take part in a dynamic design hotel. Every chain of events starts with you, the catalyst. You create the perfect mix of different elements that crafts an amazing outcome for our guests.

Main tasks and responsibilities

You will be supporting the Food & Beverage manager in leading our Food & Beverage team, our Foodies
You are the go-to person for our Food & Beverage team
You are passionate about unconventional events and dinners
You have up to date knowledge of the latest Food & Beverage trends
You guard the Quality Standards of the NH Hotel Group as well as for example HACCP
You identify potential sales opportunities together with your team
You support the Food & Beverage manager with budget planning, stocking and HR related tasks for your team

Job Requirements

Knowledge and skills

At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, preferably in a larger hotel
You are a true leader to your team
Hospitality runs through your veins
A genuine passion for food and drinks
You have international working experience
A love for different cultures
Creative, focused, inspiring, inventive, hands-on and results-driven
Fluent in English.
