Job Description
Job Title: Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing will successfully strengthen the market position of W Amsterdam, infusing all brand passion points and key differentiators, and implement market specific strategies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Develop and execute event marketing, programming & W Happenings
Activate the brand passion points on property through a calendar of events, partnerships and content. Build partnerships with local and international brands and creatives to nurture the brand and broaden exposure.
Develop and implement property-specific innovative strategies including budget considerations, marketing goals, and 360-degree activation plans to support the hotel's business objectives for each segment (Leisure Transient, Spa, B&F, Groups)
Build and maintain excellent relationships between the Marketing department and the Hotel's Sales, Revenue, and Operational teams. Ensure goal alignment, efficient communication, and delivery of results.
Support and localise global/regional brand campaigns to generate brand awareness and passion in local market.




Job Requirements

CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education and Experience


Required:

4-year or Masters degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 5-years experience in marketing, digital or related professional area; hospitality marketing experience preferred. Previous experience in the luxury / lifestyle hospitality industry is ideal.
