For our client we are seaching for a Emergency Response Coördinator region Antwerp.

We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

The Assitant Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) is responsible for:
• Reports to the Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC).
• Have experience in coordinating emergencies.
• Understand that he/she will work on a construction site in a SEVESO- environment with specific risks.
• Be able to work independently.
• Have a practical attitude.
• Helps to develop the project’s emergency plan and intervention strategies (fire, medical and rescue).
• To review contractors emergency plans.
• To review contractor’s intervention/ rescue plans (working at height, in confined spaces, near the water (dock).
• Check compliance of the emergency requirements on site.
• Provide Emergency Training to our Client and contractors.
• Helps to manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Will be part of the Emergency Management Team (EMT) to help the coordination in the Emergency Coordination Center (ECC) or on site.
• As he/ she will be part of the EMT he/ she will be included in a 24h on call emergency planning shift system and be able to come to site outside the normal working hours if required.
• Knowledge of the common IT applications.

Functie-eisen

• Bachelor level or equivalent by experience.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch (speaking, writing).
• Languages: English and Dutch are compulsory.
• Educated in Emergency Planning/ Safety.
• In possesion of VCA-VOL certificate or willing to do an exam.
