De MEININGER groep bestaat momenteel uit 17 hybride hotels in Amsterdam, Brussel, Berlijn, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Keulen, Kopenhagen, Munchen, Londen, Salzburg en Wenen, en groeit nog altijd. Momenteel wordt druk gebouwd aan nieuwe hotels in populaire Europese en Amerikaanse bestemmingen.

“MEININGER, The urban traveller's Home” staat voor een centrale ligging, ideale openbaar vervoer verbindingen, een prettige sfeer, van nature vriendelijke service en dat alles voor een hele scherpe prijs. Zakenreizigers, families, backpackers en groepen waarderen allemaal de ongecompliceerde benadering van het woord 'gastvrijheid' zoals MEININGER dat hanteert.

Het bedrijf is in 1999 in Berlijn opgericht en heeft daar haar hoofdkantoor. MEININGER heeft momenteel ongeveer 550 medewerkers.

MEININGER Amsterdam City West beschikt over 1.177 bedden verspreid over 1- tot 7 persoonskamers. In 2018 zal dat aantal uitbreiden naar 1.580 en in datzelfde jaar staat de opening van een nieuw hotel met 850 bedden naast het Amstel Station gepland. Alle kamers zijn duurzaam ingericht en beschikken over eigen douche en toilet, haardroger, flatscreen TV en airconditioning. Tevens beschikt het hotel over een ruime leisure zone op de begane grond met bar, gastenkeuken, games zone en gratis glasvezel internet in het hele gebouw.

YOUR TASKS

You work together with the Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day F&B operations (focusing on the Buffet Restaurant & Bar)
You are in contact with all F&B suppliers and are in charge of daily stock- and cost control as well as monthly reporting
You are hands-on while you drive implementation, monitor and improve MEININGER quality standards and compliance with regulations
You manage the F&B team, recruit, coach and develop your team members
You enjoy a diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays, weekends, day- and evening shifts
You are a great host and create memorable experiences for our guests

Job Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

3< years of F&B experience in a hotel, hostel and/or (buffet)restaurant, including a few years in a supervisory role
You lead by example, enjoy working shifts alongside your team, training and motivating them
You bring a sharp eye for detail, spot opportunities for improvement and follow them through
You are solution-driven, show strong commitment and entrepreneurial way of thinking
You think it is fun working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and bring people on board to achieve things together
