For one of our relations, a global manufacturer of medical devices, we are looking for a Graphic Designer for the EMEA Brand Marketing department, situated at the Maastricht-Airport site.
The Graphic Designer reports to the Director Marketing Communications & Services. The Brand Marketing Department consists of Marketing Communications, Brand Creative and Marketing Services.
This position will be part of Brand Creative, whereas the Graphic Designer has the responsibility for the review, creation and production of complex graphic designs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and prepares design for various print materials, advertising campaigns, booth and banner displays, stationery, newsletters etc. in terms of visual content format for the company;
Executes creative solutions with high impact through text and image for online and offline purposes;
Helps establish and maintain a consistent corporate image/brand voice by monitoring brand design and brand guidelines;
Maintains current and historical catalogues, files and records of produced printed materials;
Consults with Marketing Communications to develop art work for products as part of the marketing effort;
Performs a variety of related design tasks, as required.
Job Requirements
We are looking for candidates that match the following profile:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 8-10 years of working experience as a Graphic Designer in a commercial B2B environment or for example within a creative design company
Minimum HBO degree in the field of Marketing Communication, (Online) Marketing, Multimedia design, graphic design (DTP) or similar
Excellent Project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative, InDesign, Photoshop and digital platforms
Experience working with CMS systems
Excellent verbal communication in English
A team player with strong facilitation skills in order to cut across diverse functional disciplines and regional cultures
A multi-tasker with ability to juggle multiple projects, committed to organizational success
