Vacature detailsVakgebied:AutomotiveOpleiding:JuniorWerklocatie:EindhovenVacature ID: 13476 IntroductieTake the challenge to lead the legal product compliance of DAF products!FunctieomschrijvingAs a Homologation Engineer CoP you ensure the product compliance of produced and in use component(s), system(s) and vehicle(s) to type approval certificates and regulationaccording to the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval regulation 2018/858/EU.Your tasks:Define and manage the annual CoP control plan for all relevant type approval regulations and applicable production locationsDefine CoP plans for all type approvals including the required CoP actions in alignment with relevant stakeholdersLead and manage CoP audits and report out the CoP performance to Type Approval AuthoritiesCoordinate alignment with Type Approval Authorities & Member states on CoP and Market SurveillanceSupport the continuous improvement of CoP processes and proceduresManage operational CoP actions and follow up with OperationsInitiate & follow up corrective actions in case of non-conformitiesInternal and external reporting of CoP and Market Surveillance resultsIn this function, you will report to the Manager Standards & Homologation.Wat verwachten we van jou?Bachelor automotive or mechanical engineering;Experience with / knowledge of the homologation process;Experience in testing and validation of vehicles;Extensive vehicle domain knowledgeProactive and entrepreneurial personality;Strong communicative and persuasive skills;Highly proficient in spoken and written English;Wat kun jij van ons verwachten?The right candidate will be provided a challenging and varied position in a professional, high-tech environment.An appropriate salary based on your experience and education.
