The canoe is very stable and fast, but there is a couple of micro leaks which let in a saucer of water every 5min which I used to poor out with a rag every now and then. I am sure you can fix the leaks by spreading a Bison glue over the problem spots on the bottom. The canoe is sold with a good paddle. When the kano seats in water by itself it doesn't leak. Only when you add weight it starts letting in water under pressure little by little. The former owner sanded the bottom and plastered it in two or three places, that's where I guess are the leaky spots. Anyway if you want a canoe for a day in the center of Amsterdam instead of renting one for 20e per hour it's worth.
