It can, however, serve as a MUCH BETTER substitute for Mac Mini:
• More powerful processor (M1 Pro vs M1)
• Built in keyboard
• Built in trackpad
• Built in web camera
• SDXC port (although Mac Mini has an Ethernet instead)
• Portable, and doesn’t need constant power supply
So you get a lot more powerful device, with a possibility to repair the screen in future
Used Mac Mini with 16gb of RAM, 512gb of SSD and M1 (not Pro!) will cost you around 700-800
Personally, I need portability for my work, otherwise, I’d buy a desktop initially
