The Bel Air Hotel is rebranded and opened it's doors in January 2016 to join the Marriott portfolio as
The Hague Marriott. The hotel has a refurbishment of all the rooms and common areas such as the new lobby concept the Great Room and the Executive Lounge.
The Hague Marriott Hotel is the largest hotel in The Hague and is ideally located in the middle of the picturesque ' Statenkwartier' district, next to convention centre World Forum, prime-minister's residence' Catshuis' and ' Gemeentemuseum', between city centre and beach.

With 306 comfortable rooms and suites, including the Penthouse Suite, this luxury hotel offers the perfect solution for any stay. All rooms and suites, with city or beach view, are equipped with air-conditioning, a flat screen TV with 60 international TV-channels and free wireless internet.

As a Sales Manager at The Hague Marriott you will be responsible for the total account management of the corporate group accounts and intermediaries as well as MICE, nationally and internationally. The Hague Marriott is the largest hotel in The Hague and is thriving to be the #1 meeting & conference hotel of the city. We are looking for a new Sales Manager who is eager to support us with this ambition.

What are your main responsibilities?


Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings by performing e.g. sales calls, site inspections and sales blitzes
Represent The Hague Marriott at network events, familiarizations trips, trade fairs and sales trips.
Identify and approach new business to achieve personal and revenue goals
Assisting the Conference & Events team with converting business by taking pro-active sales actions.
Continuously obtain knowledge about the overall market to discover new opportunities and challenges, and take action accordingly.
Actively participate during sales strategy meetings and build up a sales & marketing plan to achieve goals together with the sales team.
Providing excellent customer service within the daily service basics of the company
Report your actions and keep track of personal results and company goals




Job Requirements

Who are we looking for?


Minimum 2 years of commercial experience
Proactive, persistent, independent, creative, target minded, efficient and ambitious.
Brilliant written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in the hotel industry is highly preferred
Willingness to travel
Eager to work for the largest hotel chain worldwide
