In ASML’s Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) department the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) sector is responsible for the introduction and industrialization of new modules and parts in our supply chain in order to support ASML’s product roadmap. We drive this via an integral approach on Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost and Sustainability (QLTCS). In this Costs domain PLM manages the supply chain related cost and the Cost of Goods (CoG) on product level.
As project lead at S&P PLM it is your role to lead projects related to cost of good in collaboration with the sourcing clusters, finance department and product development departments. You will also support the S&P PLM Project Leaders and Managers on their product scope as well as the internal S&SC management organization. In this function you will report into the PLM NXE Cost Management Team Lead.
Role and responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:Drives CoG cost down opportunities (commercial and design to cost) throughout the organization.Evaluates opportunities with cost savings potential;Drives ‘should cost’ analysis to support the procurement sector;Provides transparent and accurate insights on CoG status and roadmaps.Provides support for multi year financial planning;Interfaces with multiple stakeholders mainly with development, sourcing and finance to collect business insights.Identifies and drives cost management process and tooling improvements.
Education and experienceMaster's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain / Logistics or other engineering fields.At least 3-5 years project leadership experience.
