Our multicultural Software Development team, composed of 18 employees, located on the Braine-l'Alleud site, is currently looking for a Software Development Engineer to strengthen this team. You will join one of the software development teams (Fault Handling) and work closely with a senior Software Development engineer. What will you work on? You will take part in daily stand-up meetings using an Agile method. You will modify the software by following the V development cycle, from analysis of customer requirements through to functional target testing (HIL or vehicle testing). You will communicate with the Product Owners and Project Managers in order to validate the understanding of customer requirements. You (with the support of your Fault Handling Technical Leader) will liaise with other team members based in Belgium, Japan and China to ensure that the software changes you make are consistent. You will play an active role in the continuous improvement of current procedures. MUST HAVE Experience level: Junior (0 to 3 years of similar experience) An engineering master degree in electricity, electronics, electromechanics or IT and are looking for an embedded software development role in C. Knowledge of C language. Fluency in English and excellent communication skills Strong interest in the automotive industry. Naturally curious and analytical, you are driven by the desire to deliver quality work and to improve day by day. NICE TO HAVE French, Chinese and Japanese languages are a plus Willing to work both as part of a team and independently, you will enjoy a highly technical role with a concrete and direct impact on our products.
