Purpose: As a part of the packaging team, you will be responsible for the design and deliver breakthrough for the glass packaging (carton, corrugate, labels) technologies to deliver cost saving, capex avoidance, carbon footprint reduction or product quality improvement. This through leading execution of global projects and consulting zone projects. You will be the recognized expert on glass packaging for the whole company. The role: Responsible for overall platform tracking and monitoring Focusing on the full supply chain: glass chemistry, glass packaging design and specifications, glass packaging manufacturing, glass packaging filling and glass packaging transport Daily collaboration with internal (engineering, procurement …) and external (universities, suppliers, institutes …) partners Responsible to identify, scope and verify new technologies and opportunities Lead execution of feasibility, development and first implementation through multifunctional teams and on the field presence Who we're looking for: Relevant scientific master's degree 5-10 years profound professional technical expertise on glass converting In depth understanding of glass bottle chemistry, glass bottle packaging design/specifications and glass bottle filling DOE (Design of Experiment) or Six Sigma (Black Belt, Green Belt) certified, or equivalent trough experience Experience and passion for front end technologies Strong ability to lead and manage projects and project portfolio with high level of complexity Strong communication skills, perseverance, agility, ownership behavior Fluent in English What you can expect from us: You'll have the potential to transform our business and your career, while getting the support and mentorship you need to succeed.
