Gsxr1100 oilcooled 1992 (1993 on NL kenteken).

Various improvements made for performance:
- Mikuni RS36 flatslide carburettors with open stacks, also comes with spare K&N pod filters for street riding.
- Custom airbox from Fibreman Ireland to work with bellmouth/stacks. Really unique modification.
- Original period correct Yoshimura duplex full exhaust system incl db killer
- Nitron R2 fully adjustable shock with Ktech spring
- Full custom fibreglass track body kit with period correct graphics by Quist Racing
- Works style wet blasted and brushed frame - took 4 full days to complete!
- Dyna coils, Taylor leads, new spark plugs.
- Stock 1100 engine with perfect compression
- AFAM chain and renthal sprocket
- Harris race clip ons
- Carbon fibre exhaust hanger
- Brembo MC and braided Hel brake lines
- Banana swingarm/achterbrug
- Super lightweight lithium battery.
- 750 Gsxr rearsets (no rubber on pegs)
- NOS or freshly Nickel plated fittings. Everything changed to cap head Allan bolts for easier working.
- Refurbished front and rear brake calipers.
The bike has recent fresh fluids all round and comes with various spares shown in photos, including lights. Wire harness is completely original, not cut, everything just tucked out of the way. Pirelli supercorsa tyre still 60% life left.
Has Dutch kenteken, starts and rides perfectly.
Bad points
- Belly pan has some scrapes from track use
- Right side panel has a crack. Panel easily reproduced at Quist Racing who saved artwork files. Just need to take a black side panel.
History
The bike is originally a ‘red tiger’ 1992 from California, last of the oil cooled bikes. The engine matches the frame.
I have owned it since 2016 when immediately fitted new flatslides and then used it for touring - it took me to Croatia and back twice. Then I rebuilt it into a track bike and rode at Assen and Spa for two seasons. It has never once let me down but I have other projects and this one has to go.
