Functieomschrijving
For a company that develops, sells and produces equipment for the maritime industry, we are looking for a technical support engineer in Nijmegen. Do you have an excellent understanding of mechanical constructions and drawings? Do you have experience with technical systems in industrial applications and are you looking for a new challenge?
The responsibility of the technical support engineer is to provide optimal and timely technical information to questions from customers (vessel owners, fleet managers, shipyards and crew on board vessels). The technical support engineer reports to the manager engineering and development.
Your future job:
Technical helpdesk for customers (internal and external)Provide solutions for design issues together with other stakeholdersMake sure that necessary tests will me be doneMake suggestions for necessary changes ( with cost calculation, planning etc) to the change committeeSet up retrofit programsSharing information in a structured way
Functie-eisen
HBO working and competence levelAt least 5 years proven experience with technical systems in industrial applicationsApproximately 3-5 years of experience in a similar positionGood understanding of mechanical constructions and ability to understand mechanical drawingKnowledge and experience with safety regulationsExcellent written and oral communication skills in English
