Viseeo engineering team has combined the classic features of mb-2 and some advanced functions of mb-3 to develop mb-4. Mb-4 bluetooth upgrade adaptor is aimed to bring you a brand new bluetooth experience for your mercedes at a verycompetitive price. Classic features like its predecessor, the mb-2 bluetooth upgrade adaptor, mb-4 is free installation device. Simply plug mb-4 into the uhi connector located under the front armrest and you are ready to make a call via bluetooth. Mb-4 will automatically upload phonebooks from your mobile phone into mercedes comand console. You can dial out or receive a call simply by pressing the buttons on the comand console or the multi-function steering wheel. Premium features mb-4 uses the new ck5050+ bluetooth module supplied fromparrot, a leading bluetooth handsfree company based in france. This particular module will equip mb-4 with extremely fast phonebook sync performance1, excellent phone compatibility and brilliant sound quality. Mb-4 has also added a bright oled screen like its premium brother mb-3 that not only allows us to design a simpler user interface for asmooth operation but also allows us to add more features to it. Moreover, mb-4 comes with a 5v charging port2 that enables you to charge the battery of your phone or ipod or any other devices that can be charged via computer usb port. With mb-4 you can now pair up to 4 phones and each holds up to 1000 address book entries and total up to 4000 entries3. Sync now button is a short-cut command that allows you to syncphone's contact at anytime with one press of a button. Bluetooth pin selection let you select a default pass code for pairing with mb-4. This function is particularly useful for phones that run android 2.3.1 such as samsung galaxy s2 which requires pin to be set to 0000 in order to get connected with a bluetooth device. Keypad control6 is another innovative feature that enables you to control some of mb-4 functions using the mercedes console keypads instead of having to open the front armrest compartment and pressing the actual button on mb-4. First stage starts from the phonebook memory to mb-4's memory and second stage is from mb-4's memory to the mercedes comand console's memory. From our lab test mb-4 sync at least 10 times faster then mb-2 at the first stage. The speed of the second stage depends on how large your phonebook is. It will take longer if you have a large quantity of phonebook such as 500 entries or more. 2. The charging port simulates pc-usb charging environment therefore, you must check whether your phone or music device can be charged via pc's usb port before this function can be effective. 3. Each mb-4 can actually receive up to 5000 entries per upload however mercedes console has limited the number of entries to be displayed on its screen therefore depending on the console it can show either 1000 or 650 entries. With up to 4 devices can be paired therefore, each mb-4 can carry up to total of 4000 phonebook numbers for 4 phones. 4. Each paired phone is given a paired number in the paired phone list which can be found in the reconnect a paired device menu under the bluetooth settings on mb-4. The 1st paired phone will be assigned to phone 1, the 2nd one will be assigned to phone 2, and etc. When connected comand screen will display viseeo with a particular number that indicates the current phone's assigned number (e.g. Iphone 4s assigned as phone 2 will display viseeo2 on the comand screen when connected with mb-4). 5. Viseeo endeavors to make mb-4 compatible with the latest phones from major phone makers. However, new phones or new phone software are released very often and mb-4 software may not be 100% compatible with some of the new phones or its software therefore, updates will be released from time to time to correct the compatibility issues. 6. This is available for mb-4 with cpu software version 4.1 or above. If your mb-4 has earlier version please updates your cpu software from viseeo. More features will be added to mb-4 via software updates in the near future. 7.
