Works perfect, all the parts are still solid and no rust. Keeps the course better than anything.
Comes with all the parts including connection brackets (bronz) and stainless steel bolts and nuts you see in the pictures (white boat)
Olny as marked on the picture with red arrow, counter weight is missing, i have the pipe so just connect a small weight easy fix. (it is just to keep the vane straigth and less friction to the gears).
Auxilary rudder can be also used as emergency rudder. Very similar system to the new hydrovanes windvanes.
Rudder has a lot of buoyancy so technically almost no added weight to your boat. ideal for the long passages but i don't recommend for weekend or coastal cruisers with 1 day passages.
