Yamaha thunderace from 1997. I am the second owner (since 1999). The bike is originally Dutch, registrated in NL in 1997 and kept in NL since. It is standing inside in a heated garage.Â
The bike has only been driving 1000 km the past 8 years (Yes I have a child of 8 years old). Every year the bike got new oil, new fuel, new chain grease and new cooling liquid before a nice run of about 100 km. Afterwards it has been standing inside the rest of the year until the sequence has been repeated the subsequent year.Â
This year I am not going to do any of the mainentenance, hence the bike:
- Has a layer of dust
- Has an empty battery
- Has not moved (or been started) for 12 months
- Has a titanium exhaust
- Has a single seat conversion cover
- Has very few km on it (35.139 km)
- Has a bubble glassÂ
- Has frame sliders
You therefore have an opportunity to get a good bike cheap. All you need to do it pick it up (likely on a trailer), wash it, change oil, charge the battery (change the fuel), start it and enjoy it.
I will accept highest offer above 1000 Euro.
If you want me to do the maintenance (and show you it is running) I will add 500 Euro to the price.Â
